This September marks the launch of the European project LIGAWINE, within the framework of the I3 – Interregional Innovation Investments call, which aims to drive the wine sector’s transition towards more innovative, sustainable, and digital models.

The Catalan Wine Cluster INNOVI is the coordinator, leading a European consortium in which 6 cluster partners actively participate: E. Vila Projects & Supplies SL, Talptech SL, Onafis, Gonzalez Byass, Enric Regull SL, and the Catalan Institute of Vine and Wine (INCAVI).

Through LIGAWINE, INNOVI and its partners will work together to develop new technologies, digitalization tools, and collaborative strategies that will improve the sector’s sustainability and competitiveness. The project also seeks to strengthen interconnection with other European wine regions, sharing experiences and knowledge in parallel with similar European initiatives in other sectors.

With the support of the I3 call and the involvement of local partners, LIGAWINE is established as a key opportunity for the Catalan wine sector, both for knowledge transfer and for the international projection of the innovative solutions that will be developed.
