From 9 to 14 November, we took part in the Strategic Training Week 2025 in Switzerland, a mission organised by ACCIÓ in which several Cluster Managers from the Catalunya Clusters programme gathered to explore some of the world’s leading innovation ecosystems, exchange experiences, and inspire new strategies.

Our Cluster Manager, Eloi Montcada, was part of this international meeting, which once again will help rethink collaboration, innovation, and competitiveness in an increasingly transformative global context.

The programme included several valuable insights, such as the presentation by Mr. Mathias Binswanger on the Swiss economic model, which helped understand the factors behind its resilience and leadership position in innovation. We also had the opportunity to listen to Mr. Gerd Leonhardt, who shared an in-depth vision of the future of technology and the cross-cutting impact of artificial intelligence on the various industries represented.

One of the week’s highlights was the visit to 3D2cut, where we learned about their Digital Vine Pruning Training: an immersive solution that enables vineyard teams to practise and refine pruning through AI-generated simulations and exercises, based on the principles of SIMONIT & SIRCH. A clear example of how digitalisation can transform key processes in viticulture.

At INNOVI, we value this experience as an opportunity to open up new horizons, build alliances, and connect the sector’s talent with global initiatives. The Strategic Training Week reinforces our belief that the future of clusters is built on shared knowledge, innovation, and international cooperation.
